Mission
Our foundation provides support in helping to support the livelihood recovery of
victims of natural disasters in Japan, supporting the activity of the prefectural
government, and engaging in activities to help facilitate and develop prefectural
government administrations.
On the basis of these activities, the aim of our foundation is to offer aid and
support for victim's of a natural disaster, as well as to ensure the steady
management and improvement of state affairs.
Description of the foundation's activities and affairs
Project 1Support disaster victims in regaining their livelihood
In accordance with the Act on the Support for Livelihood Recovery of Disaster Victims, we disburse the "Livelihood Recovery Support Grant for Disaster Victims" as financial support for persons whose livelihood have been severely damaged by natural disasters.

Project 2Promote prefectural government activities
In order to promote and develop fluid and stable prefectural government administrations, we support the National Governors' Association. All funding comes from the profits of "Chiho Jichi Shinko Funding(the local government promotional funding)"

Project 3Management of the Todofuken Kaikan (Prefectural Assembly Hall)
We shall engage in the management of the Prefectural Assembly Hall. Located in central Tokyo, the Prefectural Assembly Hall functions as the main hub for each prefecture's activities.

Project 4Mutual aid for prefectural properties, which have been damaged by disasters
In accordance with the Local Autonomy Law provisions in Article 263-2, we engage in the mutual funding for properties owned by the prefectures, which have been damaged by disasters.
